Sri Lanka today lifted mandatory quarantine regulations for tourists and foreign nationals visiting Sri Lanka on holiday who have been fully vaccinated with recommended doses of COVID-19 vaccines at least two weeks prior to their departure from abroad and if the on arrivals (day one) PCR test report is negative.

Furthermore, tourists and foreign nationals who are fully vaccinated need no prior approval of the Foreign Ministry to visit Sri Lanka.  Yet, they have to abide by the operational guidelines of Sri Lanka Tourism and will be able to visit the country with an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization).
