Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha on 30 June 2021 hosted members of the Serendipity Group - the Greater Washington D.C. based Friends of Sri Lanka, at an event aimed at furthering Sri Lanka –USA relations.

Held at the Sri Lanka residence, the Ambassador updated the group on developments in Sri Lanka and the bilateral relationship.  Following the briefing by the Ambassador, the members of the Serendipity Group exchanged views on further strengthening relations between the USA and Sri Lanka.

Those participating who have had long association with Sri Lanka, included former U.S. Envoys to Sri Lanka Ambassador Teresita Schaffer and Ambassador Robert Blake, and Sri Lankan American members of the group. The diplomatic officers of the Embassy were also associated with the Ambassador.
