On May 26, 2021, the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, held the Graduation Ceremony for 1019 cadet officers who successfully completed a four years of academics in various fields related to the Air Force and national security. Chairmen of Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and gave the keynote speech. Acting Secretary of the Air Force John Roth, Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Charles Brown Jr., Space Force Chief of Operations Gen. John Raymond, Lieutenant Governor of Colorado Dianne Primavera, and Mayor of Colorado Spring John Suthers are the other distinguish guests who attended the graduation ceremony. Sri Lanka Air Force cadet officer Kavindu Jayawardana graduated at the ceremony successfully completing his degree in the field of Aeronautical Engineering. Air Commodore Sampath Wickremeratne, Minister Councilor Defense at the Embassy in Washington D.C represented the Ministry of Defense and Embassy of Sri Lanka in the USA.
