Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the United States, Mahinda Samarasinghe, met with Christopher S. Wilson, Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for South and Central Asia, Brendan Lynch, Deputy Assistant U.S.  Trade Representative and Mahnaz Khan, Director, South and Central Asia Affairs, Office of the U. S. Trade Representative (USTR), Executive Office of the President, on Wednesday (25) in Washington D.C. He discussed matters relating to trade and investment with the senior trade officials and briefed them on current developments in Sri Lanka relating to economic recovery and socio-political stabilization.. They also exchanged views on future cooperation between Sri Lanka and the United States under the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA).
