Subramanian IMF d

Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to the United States, Mahinda Samarasinghe, met on Thursday (19) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Director for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan, Dr. Krishnamurthy Venkata Subramanian, in Washington D.C. The senior IMF official will be travelling to Sri Lanka and will be meeting President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, officials at the Treasury and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, next week. Ambassador Samarasinghe briefed Dr. Subramanian on the latest economic and other developments in Sri Lanka on the eve of his departure.
