Under the patronage of H.E. Mahinda Samarasinghe, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Washington D.C., on 15th May 2022, celebrated Vesak commemorating the birth, enlightenment and death of Gautama Buddha with the participation of the members of the staff and their families. The attendees conducted Amisa Pooja/ritualistic offerings at the shrine room of Buddha at the embassy premises.
