A team of senior officials of the US Department of Commerce led by a Senior Counsel that oversees Commercial Law Development Programme (CLDP) of the South and Central Asia, held a meeting with Ambassador Mahinda Samarasinghe & Minister (Commercial) Charitha Yattogoda at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Washington DC on 13th January 2022 to offer technical assistance towards the government of Sri Lanka in uplifting country's trade related legal infrastructure, enhance exports to key trading partners that includes the market of USA which is Sri Lanka's number one export destination that absorbs over 25% of global exports and promote investments under the initiative of the CLDP.
