On 21 February 2025, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Washington, D.C., proudly participated in the International Mother Language Day celebration.

Sri Lanka's Lanka Dance Academy captivated the audience with a Pooja and traditional dance performance. The team of dancers; Dulanjalee Edirisinghe, Sachini Rodrigo, Thiloni Konara Mudiya, Sanjana Rodrigo, and Ushani Sandarauvani brought the performance to life with their elegance, energy, and passion.
