WASHINGTON D.C.04/28/2023 On Saturday, May 6, the Embassy of Sri Lanka joins more than sixty embassies during the Around the World Embassy Tour beginning at 10.00 a.m.
Passport DC runs from May 1 through 31 and offers an outstanding array of cultural activities presented at embassy open houses, street festivals, performing arts venues, museums and special receptions throughout the District.

Sri Lanka has participated in Passport DC on a number of occasions in the past. This year, guests can expect live performances of traditional Sri Lankan cultural dances & instrumental music etc., tasting cup of pure Ceylon Tea, authentic Sri Lankan food, photo opportunities with outfits of traditional clothes/dresses, discovering Sri Lankan tourism prospects and other attractions. The first 1,000 visitors will be complemented with a large pack of world famous fine Ceylon tea.
