The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Washington DC has participated in Flower Mart 2010 organized by All Hallows Guild of Washington National Cathedral. Each Embassy was given a Bay along the side aisles of this famous cathedral, to arrange a flower display to highlight their cultures and also to express themselves with flowers.
The Sri Lankan flower display with punkalasa and decorated traditional oil lamp was admired by many.
