1. As from January 1st, 2012, visitors to Sri Lanka are kindly requested to obtain Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for issuance of visa.

2. On receipt of the ETA approval which is obtained by making the ETA processing fee (US$ 20/- for US passport holders), together with 3. i – vi below, the visitor can obtain the visa in the following manner.

* from Sri Lanka Embassy in Washington DC, Sri Lanka Consulate General in Los Angeles or Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the UN in New York
or
* obtain visa on arrival for 30 days at Colombo International Airport, by submitting the ETA approval

3. It is required to submit the following to process your visa:

iii. Visa fee (in case of more than 30 days stay)– cash, money order or certified check [Click Here]
iv. valid Passport of not less than 6 months duration
v. Proof of sufficient funds to meet expenses during the stay
vi. Return air ticket
