SEQUEL TO AMBASSADOR BERNARD GOONETILLEKE’S INTERVIEW WITH WCCATV13, WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS

Keep a date with WCCATV13 on May 23, 24 and 25

The interest generated by Ambassador Bernard Goonetilleke’s interview with WCCA TV channel 13, during a visit to Massachusetts in January 2008, led to an invitation to participate in a sequel to the initial interview.

The recent WCCA TV 13 interview with the Ambassador which is a further insight into Sri Lanka’s conflict, is enhanced by Ambassador’s own experiences in the peace process and his assessment of the ways Sri Lanka can triumph over terrorism, with the help of the international community.

This one hour program will be aired in Worcester on the following dates and times -

Friday May 23, 2008 9.30pm. (Eastern Standard Time)
Saturday May 24, 2008 10.00 am. and 12 midnight (Eastern Standard Time)
Sunday May 25, 2008 7.30 pm. (Eastern Standard Time)

While the program is aired in Worcester, Massachusetts, viewers in other parts of the U.S. could go online on www.wccatv.com and click on the streaming live button and watch the Ambassador’s interview while it is being aired.

The Ambassador’s initial interview generated much public interest in Sri Lanka’s conflict, as comments and e-mails sent to WCCA TV13 indicate. Says one viewer, “I had no idea of the true gravity of the subject, but after listening to the Ambassador, I got new perspective.” Another e-mail says, “I found the whole subject to be very fascinating, and I’ve seen only few movies that address them.”
